Arrival/Drop-off & Pick-up: Please message 815-370-4840 upon arrival. We will meet you in the driveway.
Payment: We do not typically carry cash on-hand. Please plan ahead or use Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp for exact amounts. Gratuity is appreciated but not required.
Updated Contract/Waiver: As of January 1st, 2025, all new and current clients must have an updated contract/waiver on file.
Vaccination Requirements: Pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccine. We do not require other vaccinations. Any pet appearing unwell will be sent home. Exceptions to the rabies requirement may be made with a signed note from the veterinarian if health concerns prevent vaccination.
Pet Containment: Pets must be properly contained by leash, carrier, or other secure method for safety, as we are located near a busy road. Please ensure collars and harnesses fit correctly.
Potty Area: Only use the small grass circle inside the driveway for potty breaks. Do not use the land to the right (near the light pole) or the left side of the driveway (chemically treated).
Behavioral/Medical Disclosure: Please be upfront about any behavioral or medical issues. We do not turn away pets based on non-contagious medical or behavioral concerns.
Arrival Time: Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment time, unless given permission. Some pets may be reactive, and we try to space appointments appropriately.
Late Arrivals: If you will be late or cannot make your appointment, please message us.
Additional Fees: Plan for potential additional fees, which will be communicated prior to pick-up. Fees are due at or before pick-up. Refer to the "Pricing" tab for more details.
Pick-up Timing: Please pick up your pet within 45 minutes of receiving the pick-up message unless otherwise specified. A day boarding fee will apply after 45 minutes.
Matting & Dematting: We will shave matting if dematting is deemed unethical or harmful. Dematting can cause pain and poor associations with grooming, so we prioritize your pet's well-being.
Haircut Adjustments: We reserve the right to adjust your pet's haircut based on behavior, coat condition, and comfort. While we aim to achieve your desired look, adjustments may be necessary for your pet's safety and well-being.
